Treatments are performed with a medical grade ND YAG Laser for the most effective clearing of deep facial and leg veins. It is a thermal laser that precisely collapses the target vessel walls and either reduces the size of the vessel or completely eliminates it. And while there is a huge network of capillary vessels throughout the skin, blood flow is simply diverted and the damaged vessel is cleared leaving a safe outcome aesthetically and no permanent skin damage.
We may also adopt a Diathermy Procedure (Vein Wave) as an option for delicate facial vessels but the accuracy and fine tuning of our most advance lasers provide the ideal solution for most scenarios.

The scope of the procedure includes:
Determining the best treatment option to use for shrinking and clearing the vessel. There is the laser option or the electrical diathermy option.
In some cases, topical pre-numbing may be used to reduce discomfort.
The treatment area is passed over with the energy device to produce a instantaneous heat reaction with the blood vessel causing it to coagulate (shrink and harden). There is no burning or surface skin damage.
Necessary cooling is applied to the skin to reduce any inflammation and skin care protection is followed.
If required, skin resurfacing is later performed to ensure texture is aesthetically normal.
