Robert Fam - BMedSci (Macq Uni, Syd)

Robert completed his Bachelor of Medical Science in 2007 with majors in Human Biology, Physiology and Anatomy at Macquarie University, Sydney. He immediately pursued an interest in cosmetic applications and progressed with further studies in the specialised field of laser dermatology. He has attended various overseas training courses and has committed to ongoing private learning in laser science, cosmetic applications and cosmetic medicine for the growing field of dermal therapies and skin corrective treatments.

Robert specialises in both clinical and technical aspects of non-surgical cosmetic therapies in dermal applications. He has extensive experience in Fractional/ Excisional CO2 Laser, Fractional Erbium Laser (1550nm and 2940nm), Nd:YAG Lasers (Q-Switch, Long Pulse and Micro Pulse), various medical IPL photo-therapies, Pulsed Dye Lasers, Diode Lasers, LED Phototherapy, RF Therapies, HIFU procedures and Peptide Infusion therapies.

Robert first began working with various like-minded skin cancer doctors in Sydney and was responsible for introducing and implementing laser therapies to patients as an alternative to outdated procedures while providing safe and effective cosmetic services for skin concerns and anti-aging.

In 2011, Robert was featured on channel Ten's George Negus show talking about the increasing trend in laser tattoo removal. During the video casting he was providing laser therapy to a patient who was already undergoing the course of treatments.

With the emerging role in Radio Frequency and HIFU technology, Robert has been at the forefront of non-laser applications and combination therapies to achieve customised and superior facial makeover results. Robert often travels internationally in search for new and more effective methods of skin corrective procedures and anti-ageing therapies and was the first cosmetic practitioner to introduce many technologies to Australia such as Micro-needling Fractional RF (MFR) with the Lutronic Infini device, a highly advanced improvement from Thermage RF technology and a much safer option then Fractional Laser technology. Among others things, he also introduced the world’s most powerful and advance medical phototherapy device, Healite, into Australia which is now used by many cosmetic practitioners across the country.

Robert adopts a high level of practice ethics and client satisfaction standards in the clinic by only implementing proven medical technologies and world leading therapies for all highly sort after non-surgical aesthetic applications. He strives to achieve positive differences in each of his client's appearance ensuring each person walks out thrilled with their results. Catering to Sydney residents, he has found himself dealing with many high profile clientele and models who have immediately put their trust in his work.
